Recipe for Mung Bean Extract With Brown Sugar

Of course delicious and healthy, that is the essence of green beans. For now, I want to share making green bean extract easy and simple.


  • 300gr of mung beans soaked overnight to soft
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 ginger sauce
  • 200gr of brown sugar in a comb/cut into small pieces
  • Pandan leaves 2 pcs
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1500 ml of water

Make a brown sugar water

  1. cut brown sugar / finely chopped.
  2. Cook the brown sugar with 200 ml of water. Wait until all the sugar has dissolved.
  3. After everything is dissolved, turn off the heat and strain the sugar to get clean water with brown sugar.

How to do:

  1. Boil the green beans with 900 ml of water until tender.
  2. It is best to boil it with a pan that has a lid that can be closed so that it softens quickly.
  3. After the green beans turn off, the stove cools and then mixes
  4. Mix all the green beans with 170 ml of water
  5. After everything is mixed, filter the mixed beans.
  6. Do not throw green bean pulp because it can be processed on other menus.

Green bean sare finish:

  1. Cook green bean extract before and add 2 bunches of pandan leaves
  2. 2 ginger segments
  3. ½ teaspoon of salt
  4. 4 tablespoons of sugar
  5. Brown sugar filtered water, enter all
  6. Cook with medium water until it boils.
  7. Turn off the heat and wait for it to cool down.
  8. Serve more delicious cold
